Faced with a decrepit old kitchen in a Medieval property, it was a bit of a dilemma as how best to approach it, without damaging the integrity of the space. The kitchen is a key room of any home, if not the key room! In my kitchen everyone descends, despite having many other rooms in which they can congregate!

I wanted to keep the design clean & simple on two sides of the kitchen whilst giving a ‘nod’ to the style of this grand old town house on the other side of the kitchen, by keeping the old cabinets against the wall, just changing the handles to blend in with the style.
